NEW YORK.- A notorious rash on Donald Trump’s neck caused speculation about the state of health of the president of the United States.
This Monday it was noticeable a dark rash, with apparent scabson the right side of his neck, but his personal doctor, Sean Barbarella, attributed it to preventive treatment.
Why does Donald Trump have a rash on his neck?
The image of the skin rash raised speculation about the president’s healthwho at 79 years old is the oldest president of the United States, and has previously appeared in public with bruises on his hands.
In a statement to the media, Barbarella said that Trump is “uusing a very common cream” on the neck for a week for preventive skin treatment, and the redness is expected to be visible “for a few weeks.”
This Monday morning Trump participated in the handover ceremony Medal of Honor when at one point the cameras captured the rash appearing above the collar of his shirt, between his scalp and the back of his ear.
Trump takes large amounts of aspirin
In early January, the president revealed to The Wall Street Journal that he was taking large doses of aspirin per day out of superstition for years.
And he attributed this consumption to the appearance of bruises on his handswho sometimes puts on makeup.
White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt responded last year to speculation about bruises on the president’s hands by noting that he spends the day working and giving handshakes.
On the other hand, his doctor, quoted in the interview with the WSJ, assured that Trump is in good health in general, but he has chronic superficial venous insufficiency that inflames the lower part of his legs.
