NOS net profit falls 9.6% to 245.9 million but EBITDA rises 4.3% in 2025

NOS’ net result fell 9.6% in 2025up to R$245.9 million. Excluding non-recurring effects, there was a rise of 29.3%to 241.5 million.

The telecommunications operator released last year’s financial results through a statement to the CMVM.

A consolidated revenue reached R$1.823 billion, up 1.6% than in 2024. In the business segment, telecommunications revenues totaled 1.593 million euros, 5.8% more than in the same period last year.

O EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) rose 4.3% in 2025compared to the previous year. The positive trend was visible to the same extent within the scope of telecommunicationswhich reached 745.5 million euros, i.e. 4.3% above that observed in the same period last year.

Add up increases of 0.5% in the Cinema and Audiovisual areawhich reached R$46.9 million and in Information Technologies (IT)where EBITDA increased 12.8% to 21.0 million.

Accumulated revenue from Cinema and Audiovisual fell 2.6% compared to 2024, down to R$99.6 million. At issue are sharp decreases in the third and fourth quarters (20.9% and 8.3%, respectively).

The end of 2025 brought an increase in revenue

In the fourth quarter of last year, the consolidated revenue of NOS reached 486.3 million euros, plus 0.3% than in the same period of 2024.

At the same time, EBITDA grew 4.4% in telecommunications, 10.2% in IT and 1.0% in the Cinema and Audiovisual category.
