The Lisbon Marriott Hotel has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Inês Belo to the position of financial director. The professional returns to a “home” that she knows well, bringing with her the experience acquired in the world of Marriott International.
Inês Belo held important roles at Heidelberg Marriott Hotelm in Germany, where she was leader of the financial department since April 2023 and at Delta Hotels by Marriott Manchester Airport, in the United Kingdom, where she was Finance Manager between 2021 and 2023. But its connection with the Lisbon Marriott is not new. After working at Pine Cliffs Resort, the professional joined the Lisbon unit in 2016 as assistant to the operations director, going through the program Voyage and acting as cost controller supervisor until 2020.
Graduated from the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril and with a master’s degree from the Catholic University of Lisbon, the new director will focus on optimizing performance and sustainable growth. According to it, the objective is to “maximize profitability and strengthen the hotel’s competitive positioning” in an increasingly demanding market.
