Lusíadas Saúde appoints Rui Assoeira Raposo as new executive vice-president

A Lusíadas Health appointed Rui Assoeira Raposo for the position of executive vice-president of the Board of Directors.

The new manager takes over this Monday, March 2nd. In a statement, the group makes it known that “it will have a determining role in defining clinical strategy and in the implementation of the Third Way, a co-governance model that allowed the Group’s capital to be opened to doctors”, he highlights.

The new person in charge will lead the institutional relations areawith a view to “the future creation of a center of excellence dedicated to Public-Private Partnerships (PPP)”, it can be read.

Additionally, it is responsible for “logistics end-to-enda strategic area for operational efficiency and support for clinical excellence”in the search for integrating processes and optimizing resources in a continually expanding hospital network.

In the past, Rui Assoeira Raposo was executive director of José de Mello Saúde for 20 yearsas well as director of several group companies. He was also director of the Braga and Vila Franca de Xira Hospitals and several CUF hospitals and clinics, roles that he combined with other responsibilities.

He held the positions of CEO of Faminveste and administrator of Glintt, Alliance Healthcare, HMR – Health Market Research and Alloga Logifarma. He was also executive director of the National Pharmacy Association (ANF).
