TEHRAN, Iran.- The Iranian security chief, Ali Larijanistates that Iran “will not negotiate” with the United States.
Through his “X” social network account, formerly Twitter, Larijani, one of the most influential figures in the country, responded to press reports indicating that Tehran
had contacted the United States through intermediaries, requesting the resumption of talks.

US President Donald Trump has “plunged the region into chaos with his ‘false hopes’ and is now worried about further losses of US troops,” added Larijani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Councilin his publication.

Israeli and US planes hit Iran
The war in the Middle East escalated further Monday as Israel and the United States attacked Iran, and Tehran and its allied militias counterattacked against Israel, Arab Gulf states and targets critical to global oil and natural gas production.
The intensity of the attacks, the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and the lack of any apparent exit plan set the stage for a protracted conflict with far-reaching consequences. Usually quiet Middle Eastern havens like Dubai have been attacked; hundreds of thousands of airline passengers are stranded around the world; Oil prices have soared and US allies have promised to help stop Iranian missiles and drones.

On the account that Donald Trump uses to transmit his publications on the “Truth Social” network, he published a video in which he claims that “Iranian missiles fill the skies of Kuwait.”
Iran threatened “total war” in the region
Iran has long been threatening that, if attacked, it would drag the region into an all-out war, including Israel, the Arab Gulf states and the flow of global oil. All of this was raided on Monday.
The chaos of the conflict became evident when the US military said Kuwait had “mistakenly shot down” three F15E aircraft. Strike Eagles during a combat mission while Iran attacked with aircraft, ballistic missiles and drones. The US Central Command indicated that the six crew members ejected safely and are in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the state of Golfo de Qatar declared that its air force had shot down two Iranian Sukhoi Su-24 bombers.
Israel and the United States bombed Iranian missile sites and attacked its Navy, claiming to have destroyed its headquarters and several warships. While several airstrikes hit Tehran.
The death toll increased on all sides. The Iranian Red Crescent reported that the US and Israeli campaign has killed at least 555 people. In Israel, where several locations have been hit by Iranian missiles, 11 people have been killed.
Meanwhile, four American soldiers have lost their lives, with three reported dead in the United Arab Emirates and one each in Kuwait and Bahrain.
In Kuwait City, fire and smoke rose from inside the U.S. Embassy compound not long after Washington issued a warning to its citizens to take cover and stay away from the compound. There were no reports of damage or casualties.

Iran expands attacks on regional oil infrastructure
With world markets already shaken by fighting, QatarEnergy announced that would stop its production of liquefied natural gastaking one of the world’s leading suppliers out of the market. He did not give a timeline for restoring production.
Natural gas prices in Europe soared 40% in response.

Meanwhile the Saudi refinery Ras Tanura It was attacked by drones, which were shot down by the defenses, a military spokesman said through the state-run Saudi Press Agency. The facility has a capacity of more than half a million barrels of crude oil per day.
A drone also attacked a oil tanker in the Gulf of Omankilling a sailor, the sultanate said, while debris fell on a crude oil refinery in Kuwait.

Several Ships have also been attacked in the Strait of Hormuzthe narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf through which a fifth of all traded oil passes and where Iran has threatened attacks.
“The attack on Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura refinery marks a significant escalation, with the Gulf’s energy infrastructure now clearly in Iran’s sights,” he noted. Torbjorn Soltvedtan analyst at risk intelligence company Verisk Maplecroft. “A prolonged period of uncertainty lies ahead.”
Etihad and Emirates airlines will resume flights
The region is also a hub for air travel and thousands of passengers have been stranded around the world as Gulf-based airlines suspended flights.
Long-haul airlines Etihad and Emirates resumed limited flights on Monday.

Iran says nuclear site was attacked

Reza NajafiIranian ambassador to the UN nuclear agency, the International Atomic Energy Agencytold reporters that there were airstrikes against Iran’s Natanz nuclear enrichment center on Sunday.
“Their justification that Iran wants to develop nuclear weapons is simply a big lie,” he said.
Israel and the United States have not acknowledged attacks on the site, which American forces bombed in the 12-day war between Iran and Israel in June. Israel has said it is targeting “nuclear leadership and infrastructure.”
