Aguiar-Branco asks for the definition of a complete calendar for the election of external parliamentary bodies

This position by José Pedro Aguiar-Branco comes after being confirmed a further postponement of the deadline for submitting lists of candidates for elections to the external bodies of the Assembly of the Republica, including the Ombudsman, three judges of the Constitutional Court (TC) and five members of the Council of State.

A request for postponement that was requested this Sunday by Chega and in relation to which no parliamentary group, or single party deputy, expressed opposition. including the presentation of candidacies, committee hearings and election dates, will be held at the next leaders’ conference meeting, on Wednesday.
