Prohibited Products Upon Arrival in Brazil

The new regulation from the Ministry of Agriculture is already in force, which governs the permissions and prohibitions for the entry of food products into the luggage of travelers arriving in Brazil from other countries.

At the moment, all products of pork origin, including the famous Spanish hams, are banned due to the risk of transmitting swine fever. Raw milk cheeses, such as Serra da Estrela, from Portugal, are also not allowed.
