Trump considers “peaceful takeover” of Cuba

The North American President stated this Friday, February 27, that he is considering a “peaceful takeover” of Cuba, without specifying details, at a time when Washington is applying an oil embargo on the island.

“The Cuban government is talking to us and, as you know, it faces very serious problems. They have no money, they have nothing at the moment, but they are talking to us and perhaps we will see a peaceful takeover of Cuba”Donald Trump told the press as he left the White House for a trip to the state of Texas.

“I’ve heard about Cuba since I was little. Everyone wanted a change, and I can see that that’s happening”Trump said, adding that Secretary of State Marco Rubio “is dealing with it.”
