Actress and writer Elvira Mínguez was awarded the Primavera de Novela prize for her work Raising a monster.

The novella, a sequel to Espas, follows the story of three women in different times: In her mother, Matilde begins a personal search that will educate her first and foremost to learn about the life of her mother Águeda, who emigrated to Düsseldorf in the early sixties.
