The prices of habituation continue to rise and the indicators that confirm this trend are multiplying. The bank valuation of homes rose 18.7% in January compared to records from a year ago.
According to IBGE data released this Wednesday, February 25, the median value rose R$24 (plus 1.2%) compared to December, up to R$2,105. The accounts involve a total of 31.3 thousand evaluations, 9.2% less than in December and 11.2% less than in January 2025.
The biggest year-on-year increase by region occurred in the Setúbal Peninsula (27.1%). In monthly terms, the most significant increase was 2.1% and occurred in the West and Vale do Paraíba. No drop was observed.
