The national leadership will propose holding a National Congress on the 8th, 9th and 10th of May, in a location not yet known.
The holding of the elective and statutory congress of the party led by André Ventura follows the decision of the Constitutional Court, which considered the votes to elect Chega’s bodies at its VI National Convention, which took place between January 12 and 14, 2024, in Viana do Castelo, invalid.
According to a press release released by Chega, whose leader has a press conference scheduled for this afternoon, the election of delegates to the National Congress will take place on the 18th and 19th of April.
