Back to School Marked by Demonstrations and Confrontations

New manifestations marked the return to classes at universities in Iran, for a new academic semester. On Saturday, February 21, street protests returned, after dozens of thousands of deaths in less than two months.

The protest on Iranian soil comes from behind, led by countless people who oppose the regime who has led the country since the Islamic Revolution of 1979. This weekend even brought clashes that pitted protesters and favorable groups to Ali Khamenei, Iranian supreme leader, according to the state news agency.

Several Videos show protests near Sharif University in Tehrancapital of Iran. This is the case of the images below, published on the social network X (the images contain violence). Those present also raised an Iranian flag with the symbol of the sun and the lion.
