Sp. Braga beats V. Guimarães and provisionally takes fourth place in the I League (see the goals)

Sporting de Braga won this Saturday, February 21st, against rival Vitória de Guimarães 3-2, in the 23rd round of the I League, and provisionally rose to fourth place.

Uruguayan Rodrigo Zalazar scored the winning goal for Braga, in the 57th minute, after having opened the scoring, in the 17th minute, with a penalty, and Ricardo Horta, in the 32nd, having once again given the hosts an advantage, in both cases in response to the Braga fans, who benefited from an own goal by Barisic, in the 19th, and equalized through Gustavo Silva, in the 54th.

Sporting de Braga currently occupies fourth place, with 42 points, two more than Gil Vicente, relegated to fifth and visiting Estoril Praia in this round, while Vitória de Guimarães remains in eighth place, with 31, within reach of the ‘canarinhos’.
