Government meets on Wednesday with parties with parliamentary seats on PTRR

The government will meet on Wednesday with all political parties with parliamentary seats to discuss the “Portugal Transformation, Recovery and Resilience” (PTRR) program, the general lines of which will be approved this Friday by the Council of Ministers.

The meetings will be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence and will begin at 10am, with JPP, and continue throughout the day with the parties in ascending order of representation in the Assembly of the Republic, with the last scheduled for 5pm, with Chega, a source from Luís Montenegro’s office told Lusa.

On the Government side, the Prime Minister, the Minister of the Presidency, António Leitão Amaro, and the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Manuel Castro Almeida, will participate in the meetings.

This program was announced last week by Luís Montenegro, following the consequences of the Kristin, Leonardo and Marta depressions, which claimed 18 lives in Portugal and also caused many hundreds of injuries and displacement.
