Two federal ICE agents were suspended and are investigated, for allegedly lying about a shooting in Minneapolisan event that occurred last month and left a Venezuelan migrant injured.
The above was announced this Friday by a senior United States immigration official.

“Video evidence revealed that the testimony sworn statement from two different agents appears to contain false statements“he said in a statement Todd Lyonsacting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“Both officers were placed on administrative leave. while concluding a thorough internal investigation,” Lyons said.
The announcement comes a day after federal prosecutors dropped assault charges against Alfredo Alejandro Aljorna and Julio César Sosa-Celis. This last person, whom and ICE agent shot him on the leg in Minneapolis on January 14.
Federal prosecutor Daniel Rosen, in a court brief, said that the charges They were rejected. “The newly discovered evidence in this matter are materially inconsistent with the allegations in the complaint” filed against the men.
