“What an incredible victory. It was an intense race, where everything went right, a perfect energy management strategy and the activation of ‘attack modes’ was critical. We finally managed to materialize our progress into results and this victory is a great boost for me and my entire team, who have been very supportive in adapting and getting used to Jaguar”, said the Portuguese driver, who this year moved to the British team.
This was Félix da Costa’s first victory this season, the 13th of his career in Formula E, the competition for electric cars.
“I’m a fighter by nature and once again we showed our entire Portuguese breed on the track, with an incredible victory, on a very good day for me, for Jaguar and for all the Portuguese who always support me. We remain strong for the next race in Madrid, looking for more moments like this”, he said.
