MIAMI.- This Thursday the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office reported that two domestic shootingswhich They left seven people dead (including the alleged attacker), would be related.
The authorities indicated that the events occurred on Tuesday; the first fact, left two lifeless peoplein a casa Fort Lauderdale, Miami on the east coast of Florida, and the second case is a homicide-suicide, which occurred on the same day, and which left five dead in Sarasotawhich is on the west coast.
The Sheriff’s Office announced that the alleged attackerhad been in a romantic relationship previa with one of the victims of the first case in Fort Lauderdale. Furthermore, the woman had a connection to victims in Sarasota. The suspect’s motive for attacking the victims is unknown.
On Tuesday, Sarasota officers responded to a report of a man who was shot in the Amberlea neighborhood, where he died after failed first aid attempts.
The police then entered the house, where They discovered two women and two dead adult menamong whom is the alleged shooter, identified as Russell Kot51, of Fort Lauderdale and who reportedly died from self-inflicted injuries.
Officers then received a call from Fort Lauderdale Police Department detectives informing them that the suspect was allegedly related to a double homicideafter finding the bodies of a 46-year-old woman and an 18-year-old young man that Tuesday.
The authorities of both jurisdictions indicated that crimes no longer pose a threat to the community considering them an isolated event, since the attacker died.
