VATICAN CITY.- This Sunday, the Pope Leo XIV encouraged pray for peace in the world and warned that the future does not depend on “the strategies of economic and world powers“, but of the respect between people.
“Let us continue praying for peace. The strategies of economic and military powers, as history teaches us, do not give a future to humanity,” he claimed after praying the Angelus from the window of the Apostolic Palace.
And he added: “The future lies in respect and fraternity between people.”
Prayer for Nigeria
