“These forms of violence are not isolated incidents, but symptoms of a culture that has forgotten how to love as Christ loves“, explained the Holy Father in his message against trafficking in which he renewed “firmly the urgent call of the Church to confront and put an end to this serious crime against humanity“.

The United Nations Organization (UN) has warned about a growing crisis of modern slavery linked to cyber scam centersparticularly in Southeast Asia, where hundreds of thousands of people are in a state of slavery and forced to commit online fraud.
