Production in the services sector grew 0.3% in the euro zone and 0.2% in the European Union in November 2025, year-on-year, revealed this Friday, 6th, Eurostat.
In monthly terms (chain variation), production in services fell by 0.6% in the euro area and 0.5% in the EU.
Among the Member States, the largest year-on-year increases were recorded in Bulgaria (+9.9%), Poland (+5.8%), Latvia and Romania (both +5.0%). On the other hand, the biggest contractions were observed in Denmark (-13.0%), Hungary (-8.9%) and Estonia (-2.3%).
In comparison with October, the most significant decreases occurred in Greece (-6.0%), Denmark (-5.1%) and Hungary (-2.0%). The biggest monthly advances came in Bulgaria (+2.9%), Romania (+2.3%) and Slovakia (+2.1%).
In Portugal, Eurostat points to a 0.5% drop in the monthly variation, with year-on-year data being classified as confidential.
