On Saturday, starting at 7:30 pm local time (6:30 pm in Lisbon), Portugal will once again compete for the continental title against Spain, which this Wednesday secured a return to the final by beating Croatia, 1-0, just like in 2018, also in Slovenia.
In 2022, the quinas team became two-time champions by beating Russia, in the Netherlands.
Once again in the Slovenian capital, which hosts the decisive phase of the 13th edition of the European Championship organized jointly by Slovenia, Lithuania and Latvia, Portugal is looking for the third consecutive scepter, in the fourth final – it lost the decisive game in 2010 -, against the record holder of victories, with seven (1996, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2016).
