Marius Borg Høiby, the son of the Crown Princess of Norway, was arrested again on Sunday on suspicion of attacks and threats, one day before the opening in Oslo of his trial for violations, police announced Monday.
“Marius Borg Høiby was arrested by the police on Sunday night, suspected of attacks on physical integrity, threats with a knife and violation of the prohibition of contact”, Oslo police said in a statement, without naming the alleged victim(s).

The police will request your arrest for four weeks “due to the risk of recidivism,” he said without further comment.
Born from a relationship prior to his mother Mette-Marit’s marriage to Crown Prince Haakon, Høiby already must appear before an Oslo court to answer for 38 accusations of crimes, including four rapes, physical and psychological violence, and one violation of narcotics legislation.

The 29-year-old denies the most serious facts.
Seven people are the alleged victims in this case, four of them for suspected rape when they were not in a position to defend themselves.
Høiby is formally prohibited from coming into contact with them.
If he is found guilty of the most serious acts already held against him, the son of the future queen can be sentenced to up to 16 years in prison.
His trial will take place until March 19, and the verdict is expected weeks later.
