One of the most respected and beloved Brazilian artists by the public in Portugal, Marisa Monte has already announced her first show in Portugal this year. The singer will come to Lisbon for the show ‘Phonica’a project that marks one of the most ambitious moments in its career and uses an unusual format for Brazilian popular music, with the participation of an orchestra.
The presentation takes place on September 18th, at MEO Arena, and brings together Marisa Monte, his usual band and a symphonic ensemble made up of 55 musicians. The musical direction and conducting are the responsibility of maestro André Bachur, responsible for conducting the new arrangements created especially for this meeting between the popular and the erudite.

The show proposes a new reading of the repertoire built over more than three decades of career. Emblematic songs gain new versions, designed for the symphonic formation, without breaking with the artistic identity that consolidated the singer as one of the central names in contemporary Brazilian music with her compositions and parallel projects, such as Tribalistas.
Tickets for Marisa Monte’s show in Lisbon are now available for sale. Tickets vary between €28 and €66, depending on the sector chosen and can be purchased through from this link.
