the first pictures of the ambitious saga with the main actors

The four-film Beatles saga directed by Sam Mendes has revealed the first images of actors Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn and Harris Dickinson as the four members of the Liverpool band.

Mezcal (Hamnet) gives life to Paul McCartney, Keoghan (Saltburn), Ringo Starr; Quinn (Stranger Things) finds herself in the shoes of George Harrison and Dickinson (Little girl) will feature John Lennon in a “cinema event” to be held at the cinema in April 2028.

Official site The Beatlesand in his social circles I posted these four photos, one for each actor, and accompanied by a song Come together.

Mescal appears in the signature ‘mop-top’ cut made popular by the gang, dressed in a shirt, shorts and a classic vest with bottoms reminiscent of Liverpool’s famous bar The Cavern.

Keoghan is wearing a lunar navy blue shirt, a printed vest, headphones on his bum, and appears next to a microphone in a recording studio; as well as Dickinson, as John Lennon, portrayed with his iconic red cheeks and guitar playing while singing.

Finally, Quinn, like Harrison, is photographed facing forward and looking serious while playing the guitar.

4000 emails delivered worldwide

The producers of the packaged films, Sony Pictures and Neal Street Productions, launched a campaign with images of the main actors, with a total of 4,000 e-mails hidden in locations related to The Beatles in cities such as Liverpool, Hamburg, New York and Tokyo.

“From the disco clubs of Shibuya to the Reeperbahn, from the cave doors (and LIPA pasillos) to the Red Streets of Central Park, posts are located in the places fans naturally gravitate to: music clubs, emblematic circles and places they visit, make history, seek and discover,” the website states The Beatles.

Of the 4,000 hidden emails, 200 are personally signed by Mescal, Keoghan, Dickinson and Quinn.

In the images shared, you can see that four of the signed cards were at the Penny Lane sign in Liverpool, or that the autograph for Dickinson was at John Lennon’s birthplace, also in the same city.

“When it came time to share a first look at the actors taking on these roles (…), we asked them to feel like something we could discuss. So fill it in the mail. Physical things. Something that can be preserved,” the press release continues.

In this sense, the campaign claims to have “a little guide to the old days when news travels in paper, signatures are awaited and the story lives on in photos, notes and memories that circulate among fans and friends”.
