We present the Kids of the Bridge: three Brazilian children who live in Portugal and discover, on a trip to the bakery, that Portuguese is the same language…just not. In today’s strip, the confusion with “French bread” summarizes the small adaptations that everyone needs to make when crossing the Atlantic. In each episode, this group faces – with lightness and a hint of irony – the challenges faced by Brazilians here: from language to bureaucracy, from homesickness to the feeling of belonging to two places at the same time.
