Betzabé Martínez Arango, elected municipal president of Gómez Palacio, stated that the legally established process for the delivery-reception of the Municipal administration must be complied with, in whose development responsibility and respect will prevail.

This was stated when meeting on the afternoon of this Friday, August 1, with Mayor Leticia Herrera Ale, whom he acknowledged for her willingness to launch this legal process that lays the foundation for the appointment of the respective commissions for an optimal government transition, which results in administrative and operational order, as well as attention and service to the people of Gómezpalatino, without surprises or inconveniences.

Within the framework of the meeting, he considered that this first meeting with Mayor Leticia was developed in terms of cordiality, respect and institutionality.

For the next municipal president, emerged from the ranks of MORENA and nominated by the Let’s Keep Making History coalition in Durango, there is only one month left to take on the task of putting her government plan into practice and to do so, she reiterates the need to start well, so the commission will soon be formally installed, with the designation of those responsible and the presentation of those who will represent the outgoing administration.

“Our government will be close to the people, let there be no doubt, close to social causes and committed to responding to the trust that the people of Gómezpalatinos have placed in it,” assured Betzabé Martínez and, facing the process to receive the administration and appoint those responsible in the various areas, she reiterated: “Governing is not a privilege, the privilege is to serve the people of Gómez Palacio.”
