IRAN is threatening to strike back “like never before” as Donald Trump warns a massive US battle fleet is moving into position.
Tehran’s UN mission sounded the warning on Wednesday after the US president said Iran was running out of time to strike a deal or face devastating force.

The threat came alongside an image of Trump’s own terse message that a “massive Armada” – led by the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln – was heading towards Iran and was ready to strike with “speed and force” if necessary.
Trump has made it clear that he wants talks, but on American terms and with zero tolerance for Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
He wrote on Truth Social: “A massive army is heading to Iran.

‘TIME RUNNING OUT’
Trump issues devastating warning to Iran as ‘massive’ US military moves in
“It moves quickly, with great force, enthusiasm and expediency. It is a larger fleet, headed by the great aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, than the one sent to Venezuela.”
“Like Venezuela, it is ready, willing and able to quickly accomplish its mission, if necessary quickly and by force.”
Trump urged Tehran to negotiate before it was too late, stressing: “We hope Iran will quickly ‘come to the table’ and negotiate a fair and just deal – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS – one that is good for all parties.
“Time is running out, it’s really important! As I told Iran once before, DEAL!”
The president also warned that any future US strikes would top June’s Operation Midnight Hammer, when US stealth bombers destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities.
“The next attack will be much worse! Don’t do it again,” he said.
The showdown comes as outrage grows over Iran’s brutal crackdown on nationwide protests, with opposition-linked groups estimating that 36,500 people have been killed since Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei ordered his forces to show “no mercy” to protesters.
The Iranian government insists the death toll from the protests is only 3,117, saying many of the victims were “terrorists”.
But human rights groups, witnesses and leaked footage tell a much darker story – including children shot, blinded or dragged from hospitals by regime thugs.
US intelligence briefings are said to indicate that the regime’s power is now at its weakest since the 1979 Islamic revolution, and Trump is said to be watching closely.
While Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have reportedly refused permission for US aircraft to use their airspace for first strikes, US military commanders have confirmed that the Abraham Lincoln is already within range of Iranian targets.
US Central Command confirmed: “The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is currently deployed to the Middle East to support regional security and stability.
At the same time, the US Air Forces Center said that the ongoing war games are sharpening Washington’s readiness for rapid escalation.
“This exercise is designed to enhance the ability to disperse assets and personnel, strengthen regional partnerships, and prepare for flexible response execution,” AFCENT said, adding that the exercise will allow US forces to maintain “multinational command and control over a large area of operations.”
Trump has repeatedly insisted that Washington is “open to business” if Iran dismantles its war machine and nuclear program.
But Tehran doubled down on threats and promised to hit American and Israeli targets in the Middle East in the event of an attack.
Iran’s foreign ministry warned of a “comprehensive and regrettable response”, while ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei dismissed the arrival of the US ship, saying it would not affect Iran’s “determination and seriousness to defend the Iranian nation”.
Iranian-backed proxies went even further. Yemen’s Houthi rebels and Iraq’s Kataib Hezbollah have warned that any attack on Iran would spark “all-out war” across the region.
