The child – believed to be five or six years old – was dropped about 25ft before being pulled back up in a botched “stunt” that put his life at risk.

Police and prosecutors have launched an urgent investigation into the horrific incident.

The father’s friends – who watched and filmed the mindless act rather than intervene – could be heard laughing.

A child can be heard screaming “hold me” as he was tied out of a window into the freezing night.

But he was simply told, “Hold on to the rope.”

The father then gathers his friends to capture the moment on camera and shouts: “Olya, film it, shoot it’.

But the child continues to plead, “Hold me, hold me.”

As the boy is being lowered down an 80-foot drop, a woman’s voice is suddenly heard asking, “Pick him up.”

Someone then shouts, “Climb up, watch your hands.”

The father, who has not yet been identified, laughs as he drags his son back through the window.

He triumphantly boasts, “That’s it.”

Amid a storm of protests on social media, the Voronezh Regional Prosecutor’s Office said it had “launched investigation following media reports of an incident involving a minor.”

The statement said: “While drinking alcohol, the man subjected the boy to an extreme stunt by lowering him on a rope from the window of a multi-storey residential building in the city of Voronezh and then pulling him back up, putting the child’s life at risk.”

The parents are to be investigated over the incident and child protection authorities will be involved, the statement said.

The regional governor in Voronezh said that it has not yet been established that the shocking incident happened in the city.

It comes after a Russian mother filmed herself vacuuming her 10-year-old son into a plastic bag “for fun”.

Blogger Anna Saparina (36) is being investigated by police and child protection authorities after she posted a video of a disgusting trick on social media.

The footage showed her son Stas lying inside an industrial-sized vacuum bag on the floor of theirs family be.

The clip begins with Stas taking a deep breath and counting “one, two, three” before Saparina quickly snaps her bag shut and announces, “Let’s go!”

He then presses the hose of the vacuum cleaner to the valve of the bag and begins to suck the air.

Within seconds, Stas lets out a strangled, terrified cry – “Mommy!” but his voice is muffled by the collapsing plastic wrap pressed against his face.

Saparina unwraps the sack and Stas, visibly relieved, smirks and gives a thumbs up as he takes a drink of fresh air.

The video, which has since sparked online outrage, had the caption “This was the third week of sick” embedded on the screen.
