Senate Majority Leader John Thune was asked about Trump’s latest comments about Pretti carrying a gun. “One. It’s a constitutional right. Two. It’s legal under the laws of the state of Minnesota. He may not have had ID, but with that exception he was following the law. He has a constitutional right,” said Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
