Mainland Portugal faces further weather deterioration next night as Depression Joseph packs strong winds of 140 kilometers per hour and warnings have been issued for Porto, Aveiro and Coimbra.
Meteorologist Cristina Simões from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), according to the Lusa agency, explains that the continent continues to be affected by depression Joseph, which is experiencing further deterioration during this period.
“We hear this noise blowing strongly, the wind is strong enough in the whole area before us. We are now with a light sweetness of the state of time, embellished by the appearance of water and wind,” he said.

The rest of the continent must be under high alert due to strong winds of 100 km/h, which may reach 120 km/h in high-altitude areas.

IPMA will also broadcast between 03:00 and 21:00 on the fourth day for the districts of Faro, Porto, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisboa, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga due to maritime disturbances, predicting west/north waves from 7 to 8 meters that can reach a maximum height of 14 meters.
The districts of Bragança, Viseu, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Braga and Castelo Branco should also be prepared for Laranja and Aveiro to fall in love from 12:00 today and 06:00 on the fourth day of the week, where there is snow at an altitude of 800 meters.
IPMA is also located in all districts (18) of mainland Portugal, so the fourth day between 03:00 and 09:00 will be loved due to high consumption.
