The murdered three young children of British hairdresser Victoria Hart were comforted by relatives as they released white balloons in memory of their mum.
This happened after a minute’s silence in front of her local Spanish town hall.
Mum Sue, 33, and sister Jemma also attended the harrowing ceremony two days after she was stabbed to death at the home near Marbella she shared with her son, 11, and seven-year-old twins.
Victoria’s estranged husband Juan Antonio Rueda, who surrendered to police shortly after the murder on Saturday morning and admitted to doing something “very bad”, remains in custody and is due to stand trial.
A rally at 5pm in her adopted town of Alhaurín el Grande was attended by hundreds of locals, including Spanish and British residents.
Victoria moved to Spain from Solihull in the West Midlands as a teenager.

The friend revealed that Rueda had ignored a restraining order preventing him from approaching her and the house and was to be tagged so police could monitor his movements.
Ex-partner Elaine, 69, of Hull, a regular long-term customer of Victoria’s, said: “When we last spoke she said they were waiting for a tag that came from another part of Spain and it clearly wasn’t and he continued to breach his restraining order and abuse it by getting too close to her.
“Victoria did everything in her power to make things right with the authorities, but the system failed her.
“She changed the locks, had cameras installed, you name it, she did everything she could.
“Her ex should have had a tag a long time ago and it could have saved her life.
“The police decided he should wear it because he was ignoring a court order. But his attitude was, ‘I’m going to do whatever I want and nobody’s going to touch me’.”
