Iran’s currency has fallen to a record low following nationwide protests sparked by economic woes



Iran’s bloody crackdown on nationwide protests has killed at least 6,126 people, with many more feared dead, activists said on Tuesday, as a group of US aircraft carriers arrived in the Middle East to lead any US military response to the crisis. Meanwhile, Iran’s currency, the rial, fell to a record low of 1.5 million to $1.
