Liverpool manager Arne Slot said he “feared the worst” for Bradley, although he was measured in his criticism of Martinelli.
“I’m 100 percent sure that if he knew what kind of injury it could be, he wouldn’t have done it,” said the Dutchman. “But it doesn’t look great if Bradley has the injury we think he has.
“You don’t like a player moving if he could have an injury.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said Martinelli would never have tried to move Bradley if he thought he was injured.
“He probably doesn’t know, because knowing Gabi, he has no intention,” said the Spaniard.
“I don’t know what happened to Conor but I hope it’s not bad, but Gabi clearly has no intention of doing him any harm.
