INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee today announced the 156 teams that will compete in the 2025 NCAA DI Men’s Golf Championship.
From the top five teams and each of the six regional sites, the top individual not on those teams – Amherst, Virginia; Auburn, Alabama; Bremerton, Washington; Reno, Nevada; Tallahassee, Florida and Urbana, Illinois will compete in the finals May 23-28 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. The tournament is hosted by the state of Texas. The teams and individuals who have qualified for the 2025 Championship Finals are listed below.

The finals will consist of three days of stroke play (54 holes) from May 23 to Sunday May 25, after which the top 15 teams and nine non-promoting teams will be determined. This will be followed by the final day of 18-hole stroke play on Monday, May 26, with the top 8 teams and 72-hole individual championships. The team state championship will be determined in a match format consisting of the quarterfinals and semifinals on Tuesday, May 27, followed by the finals on Wednesday, May 28.
The 2024 NCAA DI Men’s Golf Championship also took place at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, with Auburn winning the title, beating Florida State 3-2. Georgia Tech’s Hiroshi Tai won the singles title.
