No. 1 Cornell defeated No. 2 Maryland 13-10 in the 2025 DI Men’s Lacrosse Championship for its first title since 1977 and fourth overall. It was the first 1-2 tie for the title since 2005.
On Sunday, May 4, 18 teams were selected. Ten teams were automatically seeded by winning the conference tournament, and the other eight teams were selected by the DI Men’s Lacrosse Committee.
