Conference play officially began last week, shaking up the Power 37 rankings, with BYU in the top 10 and Michigan State at No. 13.
Here are the latest rankings:
1. Arizona (1): The Wildcats opened Big 12 play with a road win at Utah, remaining undefeated.
2. Michigan (2): The Wolves are dominating teams, just like UNLV did in the early 1990s. The 30-point win over USC was the most recent example.
3. Iowa State (3): The Cyclones haven’t missed a beat since dominating Purdue in West Lafayette.
4. UConn (4): The Huskies may not run the Big East table, but I can’t see them losing the conference title.
5. Purdue (6): The Steamers went toe-to-toe with Michigan for a convincing win at Wisconsin.
6. Gonzaga (5): The Zags had to play host Seattle at home to stay undefeated in the WAC.
7. Duke (7): The Blue Devils struggled at home before beating Georgia Tech; then they won at a quality track in Florida.

8. Houston (10): The Cougars are back in title contention.
9. Alabama (11): The Tide made a statement following its home win over Kentucky.
10. BYU (12): The Cougars opened the Big 12 with a win at Kansas State.
11. Vanderbilt (13): The Commodores remained undefeated with a win in their SEC opener against South Carolina.
12. Nebraska (14): The Huskers remain undefeated with a win over Michigan State.
13. Michigan State (8): The Spartans lost to the Huskers in a thrilling possession game in Lincoln.
14. Illinois (16): The Illini beat Penn State at the Palestra and are still a team on the rise.
15. Arkansas (17): The Hogs picked up their SEC opener against Tennessee.
16. Texas Tech (18): The Red Raiders are still one of the hottest teams.
17. Miami (24): Jai Lucas continues to do a great job in his first season in the ACC.
18. Villanova (25): The Wildcats look like the second best team in the Big East.

19. Georgia (28): The Bulldogs had to go to OT, but escaped with a quality win over Auburn.
20. Iowa (29): The Hawkeyes easily outlasted UCLA in the second half behind the great play of Bennett Stirtz.
21. SMU (NR): The Mustangs are riding high after their win over North Carolina.
22. North Carolina (15): The Tar Heels were rolling before the first Mustangs made a run.
23. UCF (NR): The Knights are ranked in the top 25 with a home win over Kansas.
24. Louisville (23): The Cardinals split the Bay Area road swing without Mikel Brown Jr.
25. Virginia (22): The Cavaliers lost in triple OT to rival Virginia Tech, but then swept NC State.
26. Kansas (9): I know it’s a big letdown, but the Jayhawks need to embrace the Big 12 going forward.
27. Seton Hall (27): The Pirates bounced back from a home loss to Villanova to beat Creighton by 16 points.

28. TCU (31): The Horned Frogs have won six straight and defeated Baylor in the Big 12 opener.
29. Kentucky (19): Losing to Alabama isn’t embarrassing, but the 15-point margin is noteworthy.
30. Tennessee (20): The Vols need two of their next three home showings.
31. USC (21): The Trojans were just as excited about Michigan as any other team. Michigan and Minnesota have two more games left on the three-game road trip.
32. Indiana (NR): The Hoosiers scored 90 points Sunday night in Washington, a few bad late-game possessions by Minnesota, and are undefeated in the Big Ten.
33. Clemson (NR): Brad Brownell has led the Tigers back up at the right time, picking up two wins on the road to start the ACC.
34. Miami (OH) (36): The RedHawks are off to a 3-0 start, 15-0 overall and rolling.
35. Utah State (37): The Aggies have won five in a row to go 3-0 in the Mountain West and 12-1 overall.
36. Oklahoma (NR): The Sooners opened the SEC with a five-game winning streak and a convincing win over Ole Miss.
37. Mississippi State (NR): The Bulldogs have won five straight, including a stunning overtime win at Texas.
