Beach volleyball will be played at the 2024 Olympic Games from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, August 11. As for the US team, they will participate in the Olympics divided into two teams of four men and four women. The women will be represented by Taryn Klot-Kristen Nuss and Kelly Cheng-Sarah Hughes, while the men will be represented by Andy Benesch-Miles Partain and Chase Budinger-Miles Evans.

Women
Taryn Clot | LSU
Taryn Klot played two years of beach volleyball at LSU and four years of indoor volleyball at Creighton. Indoors, he was named Big East Championship MVP in 2017 and led Creighton to the NCAA quarterfinals in 2016. While at LSU, Kloth went 36-0 in 2021 and earned AVCA Doubles of the Year honors and Beach Volleyball All-American honors.
Kristen Nuss | LSU
Nuss was Clote’s counterpart at LSU, but Nuss spent his entire career with the Tigers. In their sophomore season, Nuss and Claire Coppola became the first couple in LSU history to be named All-Americans. As of 2020, Nuss and Coppola are the third duo in NCAA history to reach 100 wins. After her senior year, she finished her career with 136 victories, becoming the all-time winningest player in collegiate beach volleyball.
Kelly Cheng | Southern California
Kelly Cheng was a three-time All-American at Southern California and went 147-4 with Sarah Hughes. Chen also won her first two NCAA beach volleyball titles in 2016 and 2017 and went undefeated in doubles during her junior season.
Sarah Hughes | Southern California
Sarah Hughes was a four-time All-American at Southern California. Hughes went 147-4 with Kelly Chen, winning her first two NCAA beach volleyball titles in 2016 and 2017 and going undefeated as a duo during her junior season. Before NCAA volleyball, Hughes went 86-7 during her freshman and sophomore seasons.
Men
Andy Benesch | Southern California
Andy Benesch played volleyball at Southern California from 2014-17, finishing with 658 kills (.415), 346 blocks, 191 digs and 43 aces in 99 games. In 2015, he was an honorable mention All-American and in 2014, he was named a Freshman All-American.

Miles Parten | UCLA
Miles Partain is the youngest US beach volleyball player in Olympic history at 22 years old. He played at UCLA from 2021-23 and led the nation in hitting .373 as a sophomore. In 2022, he helped the Bruins reach the NCAA semifinals and was named MPSF Player of the Year with 1,040 assists.
Chase Budinger | Arizona
Chase Budinger played college basketball at Arizona State before becoming the 44th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. Budinger played in the NBA from 2009-16 and played overseas in 2016-17. Budinger retired from basketball in 2017 and started professional volleyball in 2018.
Miles Evans | UC Santa Barbara
Miles Evans played two years of volleyball at UC Santa Barbara before pursuing a beach volleyball career. While at UCSB, Evans had 514 kills and led the team with 325 and 261 digs as a junior. He was also effective as a front row defender and collected 95 blocks as an outside hitter.
