There are 34 NCAA DI men’s hockey players competing at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship, which begins Friday, Dec. 26 in Minnesota.
This year’s tournament features 15 different NCAA DI hockey teams. Michigan has the most players with six, followed by Boston University, North Dakota and Michigan State with four each. Team USA has the most recent college hockey players at 21, while Canada is second with six.
The World Juniors is the premier under-20 men’s hockey tournament where players showcase their talents at top tournaments from around the world.
