Prep Lecture: Three high school students are constantly trying to help the Palisades community

Three high school students who have known each other since kindergarten were raising funds for their non-profit, “Build the back poles.”

Mason Cohen of Windward and Jake Yoon and Dylan Fullmer of Harvard-Westlake have raised thousands of dollars to help rebuild the Pacific Palisades community. All three grew up in the area. All three were affected by the Palisades Fire. Yoon lost his house and two others had their houses vandalized. Everyone was forced to leave.

“We try to do whatever we can for our hometown,” Fullmer said.

Cohen is a star baseball player for Windward and Fullmer plays football for Harvard-Westlake and is the son of former major leaguer Brad Fullmer, one of Montclair Prep’s all-time greats.
