Long Beach State wins the 2025 men’s volleyball championship

Long Beach State won the 2025 NCAA Men’s Volleyball Championship, the fourth national title in program history.

The championship began with qualifiers streamed live on NCAA.com. After the teams were selected, the committee determined the pairs and seeds for the championship.

On May 12, the championship game between No. 1 Long Beach State and No. 3 defending champion UCLA took place at the Covelli Center in Columbus, Ohio.

NC Men’s Volleyball Championship History

The NC Men’s Volleyball State Championship, which dates back to 1970, was skipped in 2020 due to COVID-19. First championship won at UCLA. The Bruins have won 21 national titles and are the winningest team in sports history. UCLA defeated Long Beach State in 4 sets to become the 2024 national champion.
