Kentucky’s Vanderbilt makes the latest women’s basketball Power 10 list

Still in the top four, but for the first time this season, a pair of SEC teams will crack the rankings and make some serious changes. Here are the latest women’s basketball Power 10 rankings.

1. UConn (Prev 1)

The Husnul have won their last three games by at least 35 points.

2. Texas (Previous 2)

The Longhorns were tested, but Ole Miss was able to pull through 67-64. They have a huge matchup against LSU this Sunday.

3. South Carolina (Previous 3)

The Gamecocks finish away from Florida as they look to avenge one loss against Texas on January 15th.

4. UCLA (Previous 4)

The Bruins outscored arch-rival Southern Cal 80-46 and won the last two contests by more than 30 points.

5. Oklahoma (Previous 8)

The Sooners are on a 13-game winning streak. They begin a four-game stretch Thursday against ranked SEC foes Ole Miss, Kentucky, LSU and South Carolina.

6. Vanderbilt (Formerly NR)

The undefeated Commodores rallied behind Mikayla Blakes’ 32 points to beat LSU.

7. Kentucky (Formerly NR)

The Wildcats beat LSU for their second win of the season, their only loss coming against Maryland.

8. Maryland (Previous 7)

The Terps suffered their first loss of the season at Illinois State, but got revenge against Indiana.

9. Michigan (Previous 6)

The Wolverines rolled past Oregon in double overtime and then followed that up with an upset loss to Washington. Michigan is skating on thin ice and needs to understand its struggles in Big Ten play.

10. TCU (Previous 9)

A tough overtime loss to unranked Utah handed the Horned Frogs their first loss of the season.
