The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team faces Wake Forest Sunday at 2pm ET. The Orange is 1-0 this season, beating fellow ACC team SMU.

The Orange have themselves a freshman star in center Uche Izoje. The Nigeria native had 21 points, 17 rebounds, four blocks and two steals in Syracuse’s win over Florida State on Thursday. She immediately established herself as an anchor on both ends of the floor and is a big reason why the Orange started the season 12-2.
While Izoje features, Sophie Burrows has been on the bench after starting 44 consecutive games for the Orange. Burrows played 34 of 40 minutes off the bench and stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks. Burrows is shooting 33% from the field and 21% on 3-pointers.
Wake Forest is 12-3 this season and 8-3 at home.
