Hart, who also plans to convert the Great Northern Mall into an apartment, retail and medical complex, aims to build up to 1,400 homes, including a $1 million condo, to transform the golf course into Lakeshore Village.

The menu will include seafood and ceviche, though they are still working on the menu, he said. The premises can host weddings and events. The new restaurant is expected to have about 45 to 50 tables and will include outdoor seating.

Hart plans it after all tear down the clubhouse and build a new building and event space to the location of the restaurant overlooking the water. Avalos-Rios said he and his partner plan to move into the new building.

The partners are also on board to operate restaurant and catering services for the new hotel Hart plans to open as part of Lakeshore Village.

Hart said it will likely be 2027 before the residential portion of the development is built.

Avalos-Rios and Gonzalez also plan to renovate the former Papa Gallo’s in Fayetteville and turn it into a Mexican and Peruvian restaurant.
