At 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Thursday for North St. Lawrence, Northern Franklin, Southeastern St. Lawrence, Southern Franklin and Southwestern St. Lawrence.
“Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches,” can be expected, according to the weather service. “There may be heavy snow at times late tonight, especially between 8pm and 1am”
“Plan for slick roads and periods of poor visibility. Hazardous conditions could affect the commute Wednesday night and Thursday morning,” the weather service says. “Slow down and be careful when traveling.”
