Syracuse, NY – An approaching snowstorm could make post-Christmas travel in New York difficult.
The storm is expected to drop snow across the state Friday into early Saturday morning, the National Weather Service said.
Around four inches of snow is expected across New York State, including Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and Albany.
According to meteorologists, heavy snowfall is expected in the state. Four to eight inches are possible near New York.
The weather is expected to improve later Saturday and Sunday, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-30s.
